Born in Istanbul in 1957, Oğuz Çavuşoğlu’s journey into art was shaped by an inner curiosity that began at an early age. During his years studying in London, he started collecting artworks, building his first personal collection. Over time, this passion transformed him from a collector into someone who embraced art as a way of life.

Throughout the years, he brought together works from both Turkey and around the world—pieces that resonated with his personal style and emotional intuition. His fascination with history, nostalgia, and objects that carry stories led him to include antique pieces in his collection, creating a selection shaped over time with its own distinctive character.

The establishment of Cyan Gallery in Miami became an expression of his desire not only to exhibit art but also to share the profound emotion it evokes. Aiming to bring talented Turkish artists onto the international stage, Çavuşoğlu positions the gallery as a focused, representation-based platform that makes their work visible on a global scale.
Among his goals are organizing exhibitions that unite different artistic disciplines, fostering collaborations with brands, and bringing together every expression and language of art. For him, art is not merely a visual form of expression, but a timeless language of emotion that connects people across boundaries.
